Mon, 8 May 2006 I hoped to have a full report from the first three matches, but some computer glitches have forced me to split the 'casts late in the production schedule. Sun, 30 April 2006 ![]() My apologies for the lack of a 'cast for the last several weeks. I've bitten off a bit more than I can chew. I had grand visions of recanting tall tales from England, and I may still do that, but in all honesty I got very little audio from across the pond. It turns out I was having too much fun. Upon my return I've been jetlagged and swamped with a few too many things to schedule the right time for another episode. I have a few snippets from after Portland's 1-0 loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps but I'm shelving them until after this weekend's matches. We'll compare and contrast the three. I hope to publish on Sunday, May 7. A different challenge is that one of my reporters has taken another opportunity so my plan for a preview show each week has taken a huge hit. But I fully support his choice and know that it will work out well for him, even if it doesn't work out so well for us. A few tidbits: a pretty move http://aprettymove.blogspot.com/ is a new Portland-centric football blog. They've been kind enough to link to my report and I have been enjoying their opinions. You should too. The May 5 home opener is almost upon us. I'll have some new merchandise available before the matches (including patches and some cool retro/alternate jerseys) at the Bullpen Tavern this weekend. There's talk of a tailgate on Saturday, May 6. Tailgates are cool. RCTID -Obi Category: general -- posted at: 12:58 PM Comments[0] |
